Inflammasome Assembly
Project details
We use a novel inflammasome reporter as well as customized nanobodies to dissect the mechanisms of inflammasome assembly in response to cytosolic evidence of infection or danger. The cooperative assembly of inflammasomes mediates a tunable all-or-nothing reaction and thus achieves maximal sensitivity at appropriate safety.
