Felix Meissner receives ERC Consolidator Grant

Dying cells trigger a "fire alarm" by releasing messenger molecules such as cytokines to recruit immune cells and coordinate tissue repair. The ERC now funds the project "FIREALARM", for deciphering the molecular basis of these inflammatory reactions with about 2 million Euros.
