Stefan studied biomedicine and molecular medicine at the Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg and the University Regensburg, where he received his M. Sc. with a focus on infection immunology in 2019. Ever since, he is a member of Felix Meissner’s group of Experimental Systems Immunology at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried as a PhD candidate and will continue his doctorate at the III in Bonn.
