Daniel Burgdorf studies Immunobiology (M.Sc.) at the University of Bonn, and is a student assistant at the Department of Biophysical Imaging since early 2024. He focuses on qualitative and quantitative in-silico analysis of microscopic images and contributes to multiple projects. Daniel primarily uses Python or Fiji ImageJ and Java- based approaches to investigate the role of primary cilia in various biological settings. Additionally, he has a strong interest in the inter- and intracellular processes of innate immune cells in the context of metabolic diseases.
