Mass Spectrometry-based Proteomics

A powerful technology to study immune signaling.

Project details

Our research focusses on proteins, which serve as major signaling molecules, key drug targets and important biomolecules for personalized medicine.

We develop and employ a diverse spectrum of mass spectrometry (MS)-based shotgun proteomics methods to quantitatively characterize distinct layers of immune signaling. If possible, we device streamlined and automated methods compatible with low amounts of primary cellular starting material.

We operate latest generation Orbitrap and TimsTOF mass spectrometers as well as EASY nano-LC and Evosep liquid chromatography systems to achieve high sensitivity, throughput and robustness.
